| This was his birthday card. It was made by Jayne, made of a pages torn out from a magazine, and a photo of Charles we stole from his Facebook. We stuck him on the page and he looks pretty 3D there. In truth, I doubt he would ski but never belittle the power of visualization! |
Tick tock, tick tock. Another year and happy birthday returns. We were all excited and counting down on our little Whatsapp group and finally it happened.
This year, Charles dreams of New Zealand. Well, if I can't be there with him, the least we could all do was to wish his dream comes true. Dreams do come true anyway. His last year's Parisian dream came true in April 2013! Keep dreaming and watch how it realizes before our very eyes.
Now back to his birthday, the main highlights consist of (arranged chronologically):
- a hotel stay at Copthorne Orchid
- cakes courtesy of Leonard
- a swim
- a BBQ dinner at BBQ Plaza
- a movie
- cafe hopping and we finally settled at Kaffa, Green Hall.
- spooning
- sleepless night
- breakfast for 2 at the Hotel
