How to Eat Lau Sa Bao (Custard Bun)

We all woke up early for dim sum on the third day of Chinese New Year. Location was at Tai Thong, my all time favourite dim sum restaurant. The good folks were awesome ex-colleagues - Beng, Choy and Viv. Still remember, in 2013, on the day of reunion dinner, Beng, Viv and I were doing sauna, had a crazy laugh before each of us headed home for our respective dinner. This year, our gathering included Choy. Hadn't met her for ages! Now, this Chinese New Year is blessed by good friends, good food and good times. One of our favourite things to eat at this dim sum restaurant is lau sa bao. What is it? It's fluffy soft buns made of custard and duck egg yolks, I think. This bao's filling, unlike traditional bao's, is a sweet yellowish cream. Piping hot soft buns make you want to take a bite immediately. Tong Li's China Sex Museum

When you see a dong this size, step in. Welcome to the wonderful world of sex. That wasn't true. It was November 2012 (last year) when I visited China, of all the pictures I took and reviewed, I could barely bring myself to look at these taken from the China Sex Museum located at Tong Li. The first reason is shyness and second is sickness. Visiting the Sex Museum and understanding Chinese sexual history and culture kind of made me sick. That said, if asked if I regret it or not. Street Photography Attempt at Goddess of Mercy Temple

These shots were taken during the Chinese New Year period. As such, the temple was probably busier than usual. It takes me a lot of courage to step in and snap photos of human beings. Yes, I'm terrified of being interrogated later. The temple looking beautiful adorned by red festive lanterns. Joss sticks as offerings. One of the stalls selling prayer necessities. The picture depicts the zodiacs that clashes with the year of goat. So those borned in the year of goat, dog, dragon and bull are advised to make a trip to the temple.
